Remotely Operated Vehicle overview

The HD™ is a class leader for work class systems. Through years of field tried and tested research and development, Schilling Robotics has taken many of the benefits of the UHD™, Schilling Robotics’ flagship Ultra Heavy Duty system, and brought them to the market in a compact, powerful and reliable ROV system. At a 100 horsepower and with a depth rating of 3,500 meters, the key to the HD’s overall performance is in the development of key subsystems, and how they quickly and easily they interface with each other. The HD™ vehicle system is classified as a Class III B (>100 hp) work‐class ROV system, in accordance with the definition provided by the NORSOK U-102 standards for Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) services.

For nearly 25 years, Schilling Robotics has been manufacturing the highest‐performing manipulators that have since become the industry standard worldwide. Schilling Robotics now introduces the ATLAS, a new class of heavyduty manipulator known as the dexterous grabber. It has been designed to lift heavy loads, while being lightweight and easy to control. With seven degrees of freedom, a high lift capacity (250 kg or 550 lb at full extension), and a depth rating of 6,500 msw, the ATLAS gives operators the freedom and strength to perform a wider range of heavyduty jobs in harsh subsea environments.
